Local Priorities Road Safety Issues Message |
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Police are currently investigating an incident in the Dunnington area of York on the evening of Sunday 13 September around 5:10pm. The rider of an e-Scooter was sighted in the Intake Lane area seen to be riding along the public road. If you have any information as to who the rider was please make contact and quote reference 12260180020 for the attention of PC41 Dave Ellison. E-Scooters are not legal to be used on the public road without a policy of insurance and a valid driving licence category. Please get in touch if you have any information. Always dial 999 in an emergency If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.northyorkshire.police.uk, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively, you can stay 100 per cent anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
